			Fall 2005 Out in the Real World Edited by Don Bapst Whether acting on that first awkward crush, going on the date from hell, cruising a bathhouse, or doing drag in the Deep South, each story in this issue of Swell is about facing an aspect of one's sexuality right out in public. With defenses down, each narrator confronts an aspect of his or her own identity to arrive at some form of truth, with results ranging from the comic to the tragic.
