Radio Edit (Print Mix)

by Matt Bartosik

Love and music are very intertwined. It's not uncommon to find ourselves listening to a song(s) over and over again to help us remember or forget a particular person. Whether falling into or out of love, we're in a whirlwind of emotions...

Heeeyyy… Yaaaaaaa… Heeeyyy… Yaaaaaa…
Shake it, shake it like a Polaroid Picture.

We've got bad boys, bad boys, and girls gone wild.
             (Just Nineteen ninety-five!)
And we've all got Saturday night cabin fever, and we're looking for a
dancefloor and our favorite DJ,
Destiny. Child, it's our party, and we'll fly sky high if we want to.
Yes, Barbie, it's American Dream
house, techno, drum & bass, hip-hop, bling-bling, swing, swing to this upbeat.
America, America, how beautiful media can be.
CD. DVD. Mp3. 4 Meg? 500 RAM. Log on. Decompress. Unzip. Hard
             drive…
Can you feel me now? Nights and weekends free. Of course! This is the land of the free
and the home of the rave. So grab your glowsticks, and whip out the E…
mail with the directions so we can shake our tailfeathers.
I love the way you move. Whew, it's getting hot in here, so take down all your walls.

Stop.

Step.
1, 2 Step.
Grab somebody. Work your body. Come and touch me 1, 2 step. Now you've
got it, 1, 2, step. You've got the motion rockin' the ocean, but where…
Where is the Love? The waves have got us
crazy in love, dangerously in love.
Drown with me baby,
1, 2 jump.
            A moment like this,
1, 2 jump.
Fallin'… fallin'… in and out of love with you.
                        A beautiful disaster.
Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh,
Rock with me baby, and help me rock this world.
Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh.
Don't tell me Maybe, just let our hearts twirl.
Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh,

oops!
I kissed you again. Don't you know your lips are toxic?
You know it's gonna' be me, so hold me,
house me, drum & bass me. Swing me, sing me,
ring me baby cuz' I just wanna' be close to you and open to you.
Why do you have to go and make things so complicated? It's as easy as
            Bye-Bye-Bye
Miss American Pie
to talk about sex baby, to talk about you and me, to talk about all the good things
and the great things I can be…
for you. There'll be no more crying.

No tears, no fears, just countless years of
            You & Me.
And Him & Her. And Him & Him and Her & Her and all the Loves that
                        ever occur.
Cuz' Music makes the people come together.
So let the music play; we won't run away.
Let's get loud cuz' we are beautiful, and we need to tell it to the world,
all around the world, la la la la la.
Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh,
Heeeyyy… Yaaaaaa…
Shake it, shake it,
I like it, I love it, I want some more of it.

So baby, hear the news
            and don't refuse.
                        Just grab your shoes,
and find me on our dancefloor.

They're playing our song.
